Ashes & Cinders

December 3rd, 2020, The world has been at war for three months and the nations have launched several nukes across the globe. Several have hit major continents and cities in every country and some splashed in the water. You were fortunate but yet unfortunate, you were in Hawaii during this time and two of the nukes landed in the water causing there to be major damage from tsunamis, wind and radioactive storms. It has been over a month since that incident and there has been no aid or relief to the isles. You have heard from your trusty radio that you scavenged from the disaster that there are shelters in California. BEWARE! The local wildlife have shown signs of mutation and now you must collect food, find a way off the island and get to safety before it is too late.

In this game, Ashes & Cinders, the players or the survivors will roll dice which will determine the amount of spaces that they will move so that they will inch closer and closer to surviving in this desolate land. They must overcome the challenges of mutants and bandits that arise as they go through the land and will come from “chance” cards. The player must make their way to a boat that will allow them to escape the islands but before they can escape they must gather up enough resources to be able to survive the long treacherous journey ahead of them. To get these resources the player will land on spaces of the board that will allow the player to gather the said resources. The first survivor that makes it on the boat and survives the trip to California is the winner.
